Simon Beale + Associates are delighted to be appointed as Architects for the much anticipated refurbishment and redesign of the former Jordan's pub on the Foxford road in Ballina.
The exciting development is reigniting life into the building which has been derelict for a number of years and forms part of a major expansion plan to regenerate the former pub and restaurant into a Steakhouse and Grill Restaurant and is being carried out by Daniels Kitchen & Bar, as they build on the success of their flagship restaurant on O'Rahilly Street.
The proposed design work is underway and highlighted in the images as a beautifully re-designed, modern, cosy, bar and restaurant, which will be an excellent upgrade to the site and addition to the social society within Ballina.
The modernisation and extensive redesign, and opening, in the not to distant future will be highly anticipated by the residence of Ballina and surrounding areas.
The landmark building, located opposite Ballina railway station, has remained closed since it went into receivership and ceased trading in April 2013. The former pub and restaurant was operated by Peter Jordan, son of the late Mayo GAA player Paddy Jordan.
The project forms part of a significant redevelopment that will transform the long-vacant premises into a modern steakhouse and grill restaurant.
The new venue will be operated by Daniels Kitchen & Bar, building on the success of its restaurant on O'Rahilly Street. Founded by Daniel MacAuliffe and Anoj, Daniels Kitchen & Bar opened in July 2025 in the historic former Gaughan's Bar premises.
